It's here, and it's big: the Medieval party! Club Penguin has been talking about this specific party for months, leaving tons of clues and sneak peeks for us to put together to figure out what to expect. Well, we don't need to wait anymore! The party has arrived, and all of its secrets are here in this post so you can make the most out of this celebration. Just read on!
Free Items
In this party, there's a grand total of 3 free items, 2 of which non-members can receive as well. The first item can be found on the Ski hill near the first staircase in a box, called the Noble helmet.
Also, when you're traveling across the bridge on your way to Scorn's reign, you can find another free item that's also available for non-members! This one is called the Battle Cape.
Once you have defeated Scorn (which we will go over later in this post), members can obtain the Skyward staff by waddling through the beautiful Sky Kingdom.
Gift Shop Party Items
This party, Club Penguin has also given us the special surprise of updating their Gift Shop catalog with extra Medieval items! You can access these extras by clicking on the piece of parchment above the Penguin Style catalog. Take a look!
But there's more than meets the eye: there are two sets of hidden items! Just click on the areas circled in red below.
For the purple cape and shield, click on the black puffle in the center of the red cape.
The Scavenger Hunt
For this year's Medieval party, you need to find a series of 3 enchanted items to be able to complete your mission to defeat Scorn.
To get the first magical item, waddle over to the Dock (where your penguin will look SUPER small!) and click on the stick on a rock that is in a beam of light. One down, 2 to go!
Next, head over to the Beach. There's a cauldron with glowing light blue orbs underneath the Scorn statue, which is what you're after. Just click on it and it will be in your possession.
Last but not least, the stones are located in the Ski Village underneath the scorn statue near the top of the room on a pedestal. That's all of the items!
Scorn Battle
Obviously, the battle against Scorn is the most important event in this party. Without it, Club Penguin could never be free again! However, if you just follow a few simple steps, you will defeat him and be a true hero.
First, you need to complete the Scavenger hunt, which you can accomplish by following the steps above. Once you've done that, just go to the Ski hill and walk through the double doors with the dragon face in the top right corner of the room. Walk across the bridge and continue to follow the path all the way to the room where you can see Scorn's face from behind the mist. When you walk to the other side of the room, a little box will pop up saying, "Are you ready to battle?" Click yes, and the quest truly begins.
For the battle with Scorn, the directions are quite simple. Just move your mouse around the screen to aim your slingshot at the fireballs that the dragon king is firing. There's a little bar at the top that will tell you how many more fireballs you have to destroy in order to defeat him. The good news is, Scorn can't hurt you, and you can pause the game at any time! Good luck, noble knight.
Oh, and did I mention that every fireball you hit gives you 10 coins? Once your finish, you'll get a hefty payment as your reward for doing such a noble deed.
What do you think of this awesome party? I love it! There's so much more to do than there is with most of the other parties, which makes it so much more interactive and fun. Leave your answer in the comments!
Today, a new post was published on the official Club Penguin Blog by Happy77. It's yet another Reviewed By You article, but this time, the topic is something new: Heroes! If you've been reading our blog lately, you'd know that the party arriving after the Medieval Party leaves is the first ever Superhero party. But that's not what the article is mainly about. Take a look at what Happy77 has to say!
Greetings!
We received a lot of fabulous comments from the last Reviewed By You post! I really liked 127David's comment about their favorite Club Penguin story:
"Hi Happy77! I think it's great that so many penguins are working hard on saving the Earth. Anyway, my favorite Club Penguin story is Franky's First Show, which is sitting in the Book Room, where I like to read the yearbooks and play Mancala. I like it because it teaches the readers about following your dreams and to conquer your fears. It is a story that keeps you wanting to turn the page until the end. ? WADDLE ON ? P.S. I cant wait to see the wonderful wizardry and magic going on at the Medieval Party. Thanks for the sneak peek!"
We hope you're enjoying the party, 127David! :)
The Medieval Party has really shown us how many brave penguins there are on the island! Speaking of bravery and heroes, I'd love to know about someone who you think is a hero. Let us know in the comments below!
I'll randomly pick one of your comments to feature next week. The lucky penguin featured will receive a 10,000 coin bonus on their account!

Wow! I love how David said that he thought it taught you to "follow your dreams and to conquer your fears" because it's so true about the book. It really is a good story! You can read it below if you'd like.
But I think that I like what Happy's question for the next time is: Who do you think is a hero? In my opinion, everyone who serves in the armed forces is a hero because they do what's right selflessly, not for a reward. Leave your answer in the comments!
A new field op was released today, and it's pretty important! Any dedicated agents on the island should definitely complete this mission. We've made it easy for you to do that by giving you the step-by-step guide to completing it. Just follow the steps below, and you'll be done in no time!
1. Teleport to the HQ and click on the Field Ops screen in the top right corner. Gary awaits you with a brief description of your task. Click on "Accept Field Op" when you're ready.
2. Since the Ski Hill was converted into the Dragon Peak for the Medieval party, we know exactly where we're going! There's a broken statue of Scorn in the center of the room, and you can just waddle right next to it and your Spy phone will start flashing green and vibrating
3. Once your spy phone is vibrating and glowing, click on it to read the synopsis of the field op. What you have to do is guide a microbattery through a sort of maze to charge up several stations. However, you need to avoid traps along the way that will shock your battery and bring the energy level down! You can recharge your battery by returning to the circle where you started and staying there for a few moments. When you're ready, begin, but be careful!
4. Congratulations on completing another field op! Once again, the Director has made an appearance to deliver a message, but it raises more questions than the answers it gives...
"Well done, Agent. Your actions have been exceptional, given the...circumstances. I expect the island to return to normal now. Stay sharp, and watch out for threats."
Wait...the island is peaceful now that we have gotten rid of Scorn, so what "circumstances" is the Director talking about? This makes no sense! And why do we need to watch out for threats? I'm so confused. What do you think is going to happen, and what is the Director talking about? Leave your hypothesis in the comments. Thanks for reading, we hope this helped.
When I logged into Club Penguin this afternoon, a beautiful scroll came up on my screen with an equally beautiful message: all of the heroes on Club Penguin had defeated Scorn, the dragon king! Take a look at the message.
"Rejoice! The chosen heroes have battled Scorn and ended his evil reign. The dragon king is defeated! Peace is returning. But stay on guard. For Scorn could rise again..."
At last! We no longer have to live in Scorn's shadow and be fearful for the fate of our land. You can see in the picture how peace has already returned to the darkest of places, the Mountain of Misery! Thanks to all of the heroes who assisted with defeating this monster. But we have to heed the scroll's warning and be on guard in case he arises again. If he does, we'll be prepared! Do you Scorn will return? Leave your answer in the comments! Thanks for reading, we hope this helped.
Once again, Club Penguin has released another important issue of the CP Times! Our efforts to overthrow the cruel dragon king have prevailed, and the whole island is rejoicing. But the party isn't over yet! We still have 5 days to see if anything else exciting happens. Read more below!
Even though Scorn has vanished from the island and his curse has been lifted, there's something ominous still lingering throughout the land, especially on one subject: Why is Gary acting so strangely? He said "It should be an accelerated transformation...I mean, it should change quickly." He's not acting like himself, as Rookie pointed out in an EPF message a while ago. Maybe the transformation he's talking about could be referring to something else...what do you think is going on? Leave your answer in the comments! Thanks for reading, we hope this helped.
As you may have noticed, Club Penguin recently updated their Fun Activities page! Happy77 made a new post on the official blog to draw everyone's attention to it. There's some yummy recipes that are penguin related (don't worry, penguins aren't in the ingredients!) that I can't wait to try out! Take a quick look:
Greetings Penguins!
As you may have noticed, we've posted a few new Fun Activities on the Club Penguin website. Check out the new Fish Dog Recipe on our Community page!
Here's a photo of the Fish Dogs we made:
And the gluten free cake recipe from last week. We used blackberry jam in the middle.

Delicious! I love it when companies promote healthy foods that are related to what they do. I'm certainly going to be whipping one of these recipes in my kitchen sometime soon. Are you going to try out some of these delectable treats? Leave your answer in the comments! Thanks for reading, we hope this helped.
A few days ago, Club Penguin uploaded a special new video to their official Youtube channel about this year's Medieval Party! It's pretty cool, and I think you should take a little while to watch it.
Wow! CP certainly did a great job of putting clips together to make this look like a real professional commercial. I'm so happy that the Thunder sword was released this year, it looks SO cool! What do you think? Leave your answer in the comments! Thanks for reading, we hope this helped.
I was touring all of the party rooms that had been decorated for the Medieval party, and when I walked into the lighthouse, I took a look through the telescope. And what I saw as quite the surprise! The telescope showed that a meteor was headed towards the island. Take a look if you don't believe me!
What do you think about this meteor? Could it be the reason for the Marvel superheroes teaming up with the island for the next party in June? Leave your opinion in the comments! Thanks for reading, we hope this helped.
While I was at Monchocho's party today, I was looking through the postcards to find one to send to him. I saw that Club Penguin had added 3 new cards in the "Featured Postcards" section that are Medieval themed. Take a look!
What do you think of these new postcards? I really like the look of the Medieval Quest invite. Leave your opinion in the comments! Thanks for reading, we hope this helped.
